Kathleen Kernohan is a certified teacher of the world famous Speech Level Singing technique used by 120 Grammy winners, American Idol, and 5 Metropolitan Opera winners. Started by Maestro Seth Riggs, this technique is used by such famous singers as Michael Jackson, Josh Groban, Justin Timberlake, Stevie Wonder, Prince, Cher, Madonna, Kelly Clarkson, Faith Hill, Bernadette Peters, Natalie Cole, Ray Charles, and many others. There are 1000 SLS teachers of Speach Level Singing in the world and Kathleen is in the top 10%.

Kathleen is a professional singer, actress, and recording artist with over 25 years experience. She has performed for or with Groucho Marx, Robert Goulet, Michael Douglas, Don Ho, Bernadette Peters, Gordan McCrae, Gene Kelly, and Lawrence Welk. She holds a BA degree in Music and Drama from the University of Washington, with post graduate work in education from California Lutheran University. She attended the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in England, and the Neighborhood Playhouse in New York City. She was a director of the Children's Creative Theater in Santa Barbara for 15 years, and has been teaching singing and acting for 20 years.
